Eagles Land Benfica FC: A New Name and a New Chapter

Eagles Land FC is now Eagles Land Benfica FC. It is the biggest change in the club's short history, and it takes us into Combined Counties League Division One — Step 6 of the English football pyramid.

What has changed

The club previously known as Sporting London Benfica has been renamed Eagles Land Benfica, with the new name sanctioned by Middlesex County FA. The Combined Counties League has confirmed that the club retains its position in Division One, and that the entire process took place within FA rules and with guidance from that organisation.

Our league

Eagles Land Benfica FC compete in Combined Counties League Division One, Step 6 of the English football pyramid. For a club founded in 2019, reaching this level of the non-league game is a significant milestone — and one the players, staff and supporters have worked hard for.

Where we play

For the 2026-27 season the club has a ground-share agreement to play at Harefield United, Preston Park, Breakspear Road North, Harefield, Uxbridge UB9 6NE. Supporters travelling to home fixtures should plan for Harefield rather than our previous home. Full fixture details will follow on the Matches page.

What stays the same

Everything that matters. We remain a British-Albanian club, proud of the double-headed eagle on the badge and of the community that has followed us from borrowed pitches to Step 6. The name on the shirt has changed; the people in it have not. Football for every background, the same as it has been since 2019.
